Yangpyeong county held the meeting to initiate a comprehensive care project for the local community with officials of Yangpyeong Welfare Center for the Elderly, Yangpyeong Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, Yangpyeong Welfare Center for the Disabled, and Yangpyeong Healthy Family Support Center.

Local community care service is a policy that provides customized services including residence, medical service, and nursing care to the elderly who need health care and nursing. The services are provided in their residence, not hospitals.

This meeting covered topics such as sharing Yangpyeong county’s local community comprehensive care progress, finding new local community comprehensive care businesses, and networking among businesses.

Each social welfare institution had a fierce debate on how the local community comprehensive care should develop and suggested that there should be a communication channel such as the regular meeting of officials of social welfare institutions.

한국다문화뉴스=정영한 기자ㅣ양평군은 지난 26일 지역사회 통합돌봄 사업추진을 위하여 양평군노인복지관, 양평군종합사회복지관, 양평군장애인복지관, 양평군 건강가정다문화가족지원센터 관계자와 간담회를 개최했다.

지역사회 통합돌봄은 건강관리와 돌봄 서비스가 필요한 어르신들이 병원 시설이 아닌 평소 살던 집에서 건강하게 지내도록 주거, 의료, 요양 돌봄 등 서비스를 맞춤으로 지원하는 정책이다.

이번 간담회에서는 지금까지 추진한 양평군 지역사회 통합돌봄 추진성과를 공유하고 2022년 지역사회 통합돌봄 사업발굴과 네트워킹을 위해 주제로 진행되었다.

각 사회복지기관에서는 향후 지역사회 통합돌봄 발전 방향에 대하여 열띤 토론을 하였으며 사회복지기관 종사자 정례회의를 통해 간 소통 창구를 필요하다는 의견을 제시하였다.

양평군 지역돌봄과장은 “이번 간담회를 통해 우리 군 내 사회복지기관에서 지역사회 통합돌봄 사업에 관심을 가지고 협력 추진해 주시길 바란다.”고 당부하였다.
