Paju City will strengthen non-face-to-face inspections for the safety of daycare centers as the fourth stage of social distancing following the continuation of COVID-19 is prolonged.

In order to prevent gaps in safety management due to the suspension of on-site inspections and strengthen autonomous safety management of daycare centers, 392 daycare centers in Paju should self-inspect their feeding service, sanitation, safety by the 10th. 

In particular, this inspection will check the before-and-after organization of cooking room and refrigerator to prevent food poisoning.

Meanwhile, Paju City continues to promote quarantine inspections through non-face-to-face (video call) for the health and safety management of daycare centers.

Kim Ji-sook, head of the Childcare Youth Division, said, "We will do our best to help daycare centers autonomously and closely examine safety to create a childcare environment where children can be entrusted with confidence in the recent spread of COVID-19 and food poisoning issues."

김지숙 보육청소년과장은 “최근 코로나19 확산과 식중독 이슈가 반복되는 상황에서 아이를 안심하고 맡길 수 있는 보육환경 조성을 위해 어린이집이 자율적으로 안전을 더욱 면밀히 살필 수 있도록 최선을다할 것”이라고 말했다.
