금산군가족센터 다문화 동아리 뷰티풀라이프·디아나 팀이 온라인으로 진행된 2025년 충남 다문화가족 페스티벌 시군가족센터 동아리 경연대회에서 각자 우수상과 장려상을 수상했다. 우수상을 받은 뷰티풀라이프 팀은 필리핀 전통춤 동아리로 지역 내 중국, 캄보디아, 베트남 출신 결혼이민여성 10명이 참여하고 있으며 지난 2023년 다문화 우수사례 대상을 수상했다. 또한 디아나 팀은 장려상을 받았으며 올해 베트남, 중국, 한국 출신 여성 8명이 참여하는 밸리댄스 동아리로 팀을 구성해 매주 수업을 진행하며 친밀감을 쌓아오고 있다. 군 관계자는 “뷰티풀라이프와 디아나 팀이 상을 받은 것은 그동안 노력한 결과”라며 “앞으로도 다문화 가족 모두가 자기표현의 기회를 더 많이 가질 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
