화성시가족센터(센터장 박미경)는 8월 28일부터 9월 25일까지 진행된 결혼이민자 정착 단계별 지원패키지 ‘행복+ 든든 Life(2)’를 성공적으로 마무리했다. 이번 프로그램에는 한국 입국 3년 이상 된 결혼이민자 12명이 참여했으며, ▲미래설계(4회기) ▲ 이미지 메이킹 특강(1회기) ▲부모교육(3회기) ▲ 엄마표 캐릭터 도시락 만들기 특강(1회기) 등 총 9회기 과정으로 운영되었다. 참여자들은 미래설계를 통해 삶의 목표를 구체적으로 그려보고, 부모교육을 통해 자녀 양육과 가족관계에 대한 이해를 넓혔다. 또한 이미지 메이킹 특강은 결혼이민자 스스로 자신감을 높이고 긍정적인 자아상을 형성하도록 돕는데 중점을 두었으며, 마지막 회기인 엄마표 캐릭터 도시락 만들기 활동은 자녀의 자존감 향상과 가족 간 유대 강화에 기여하기 위해 마련되었다. 프로그램 참여자는 “앞으로의 목표를 세우는데 큰 도움이 되었고, 아이와 특별한 선물을 할 수 있어 소중한 추억으로 기억될 것 같다.”며 “무엇보다 다양한 나라의 친구들과 교류하며 용기를 얻었다.”고 소감을 전했다. 화성시가족센터 관계자는 “결혼이민자들이 한국사회에 안정적으로 뿌리내리고 건강한 사회 구성원으로 성장할 수 있도록

화성시가족센터는 2025년 9월 13일(토) ‘제5회 화성시 이중언어말하기 대회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다. 올해로 5회째를 맞이한 ‘화성시 이중언어말하기대회’는 이주배경 아동-청소년의 이중언어 역량을 강화하고 글로벌 인재로의 성장을 지원하기 위해 마련됐으며 참가자 및 가족, 관계자들 100여 명이 참석하였다. 대회는 화성시 거주 중인 이주배경 아동청소년 총 23명이 신청해서 예선에서 경합을 벌여 최종 16명이 본선에 진출하였으며 △ 내 꿈은 한국에서 자라고 있어요 △ 내가 좋아하는 한국문화 △ 나의 꿈이 되어준 아빠 등 자유 주제로 한국어와 부모나라 모국어를 발표하는 방식으로 진행되었다. 본선에서의 발표언어는 한국어, 중국어, 베트남어, 러시아어, 우즈벡어 외에도 페르시아어, 따갈로그어, 벵골어, 캄보디아어 등 9개 나라의 언어로 다양하게 진행되었으며, 대상에는 ‘가장 소중한 건 바로 평화’란 주제로 발표한 안녕초등학교 민히우 학생이 초등부 대상을, ‘나에게 보내는 편지’ 라는 주제를 발표한 발안중학교 허소미 학생이 중·고등부 부문 대상을 수상했다. 정명근 화성시장은 대회 축사를 통해 “대회를 열심히 준비한 학생 및 지도자 여러분께 박수를 보내며, 이번 대회를

화성시가족센터(센터장 박미경)는 9월 22일(월) 한국어교육에 참여하고 있는 결혼이민자들과 함께 국내적응 프로그램 ‘말도 통하고 맘도 통하는 우리들의 가을나들이’를 진행했다고 전했다. 이번 프로그램은 한국어교육(기초~ 중급) 수강생 70여 명이 참여했으며, 화성시 향남 상두리마을에서 ▲전통 찐빵 만들기 ▲자연 염색 체험 ▲마을 투어 등 다채로운 활동으로 꾸려졌다. 참가자들은 한국의 전통문화를 직접 체험하며 배운 한국어를 생활 속에서 자연스럽게 사용해보는 기회를 가졌다. 특히 그동안 온라인으로 수업에 참여 하던 수강생들도 이번 프로그램을 통해 처음으로 친구들과 선생님을 직접 만나 교류하는 뜻깊은 자리가 되었다. 대면 만남을 통해 학습자 간 유대감이 깊어지고, 한국어 학습에 대한 자신감도 더욱 높아졌다는 평가다. 행사에 참여한 한 결혼이민자는 “친구들과 함께 요리도 하고, 한국어로 대화하며 즐거운 시간을 보낼 수 있어 행 복한 추억이 되었다”고 전했으며, 또 다른 참가자는 또 다른 참가자는 “교실에서 배우는 것과 달리 실제로 체험하며 한국어를 쓰니 더 쉽게 기억되고 자신감이 생겼다”고 소감을 밝혔다. 화성시가족센터 관계자는 “결혼이민자들이 교실을 넘어 지역사회
