평택시가족센터(센터장 김성영)에서는 지난 3일(목) ‘2025년 다문화가족 모국 방문 지원사업’ 전달식을 가졌다. 이번 다문화가족 모국 방문 지원사업은 경기 사랑의열매 1억 원 이상의 여성 고액 기부자 모임인 ‘경기W아너클럽’ 지원을 통해, 경제적 여건 등으로 장기간 모국을 방문하지 못한 다문화가족에게 모국 방문의 기회를 제공하여, 결혼이민자의 향수병 극복 및 정서적 안정을 도모하고 지역사회 안정적 정착과 자녀 및 배우자의 문화 수용성 향상을 돕고자 마련되었다. 이날 전달식에는 다문화가족 27명(8가족)의 대상자에게 모국 방문에 필요한 경비와 함께 소정의 선물을 전달했으며, 베트남 1가족, 영국 1가족, 인도네시아 1가족, 중국 3가족, 필리핀 2가족이 10월까지 모국을 다녀올 예정이다. 모국 방문을 앞둔 한 대상자는 “그동안 고향이 그립고, 부모님이 보고 싶어도 여러 사정으로 모국에 가기가 쉽지 않았는데, 8년 만에 모국을 방문할 수 있게 되어 너무 행복하고 기회를 주신 가족센터와 경기W아너클럽에 정말 감사드린다”고 전했다. 김성영 센터장은 “오랜 시간 모국을 방문하지 못한 결혼이민자들이 이번 기회를 통해 마음의 위로와 가족과의 소중한 추억을 만드는 뜻깊은
김제시가족센터, 다문화가족 ‘도란도란 행복 소통 프로그램’ 운영
다문화가족을 위한 ‘도란도란 행복 소통 프로그램’이 김제시가족센터 주관으로 2025년 7월 5일부터 26일까지 총 4회에 걸쳐 운영되었다. 주말에 김제시 전역을 순회하는 방식으로 진행되어 평일 생업에 바쁜 다문화가정, 특히 아버지들의 참여를 확대하였다. 이 프로그램은 가족 간 소통과 유대감을 강화하는 협동 활동, 한국 전통문화 체험 경험 제공, 그리고 전래놀이와 레크리에이션을 접목한 가족 운동회 등으로 구성되어, 가족들이 함께 웃고 뛰며 서로를 이해하고 마음을 나누는 뜻깊은 시간을 가졌다. 참여한 한 가족의 아버지는 “바쁜 일상 속에서 가족과 함께하는 시간이 얼마나 소중한지 새삼 느꼈다”며 앞으로도 이러한 프로그램이 꾸준히 이어지길 바란다는 소감을 밝혔다. 장덕상 김제시가족센터장은 “이 프로그램이 단순한 여가를 넘어 다문화가족 간 정서적 연결과 상호 이해를 촉진하는 계기가 되었으며, 앞으로도 가족 간 사랑과 이해를 키울 수 있는 맞춤형 프로그램을 지속적으로 마련하겠다”고 강조했다. 김제시가족센터는 이번 행사를 통해 다문화가정의 삶의 질 향상과 가족 유대 증진에 기여했으며, 향후에도 지역 특성을 반영한 가족 참여형 프로그램을 계속 확대해 나갈 계획이다.
태안군가족센터, 다문화자녀 대상 ‘직업 탐험대’ 프로그램 성료
태안군가족센터가 관내 다문화 자녀들의 진로 탐색을 돕기 위해 서울에서 직업 체험 프로그램을 마련해 호응을 얻었다. 태안군가족센터는 지난 28일 서울 송파구에 위치한 ‘키자니아 서울’에서 다문화가족 15가정이 참여한 가운데 ‘작은 손, 큰 꿈- 우리는 꼬마 직업 탐험대’ 프로그램을 개최했다. 이번 프로그램은 다문화 자녀들에게 다양한 직업 탐색 기회를 제공하고 진로에 대한 흥미를 유발하기 위한 것으로, 참여자들은 실제 직업 환경을 재현한 공간에서 직업 역할극을 체험하며 즐거운 시간을 보냈다. 센터 관계자는 “현실감 있는 직업 체험을 통해 아동들의 직업 세계 이해도를 높이고 창의력을 향상시키고자 했다”며 “앞으로도 다문화 자녀들이 군민의 일원으로 건강하게 성장할 수 있도록 다각적인 노력을 기울이겠다”고 말했다.
